What We ‘re Looking For:
As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting and financial processes and will support the company’s financial operations with precision and efficiency. If you are passionate about numbers and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Support in payroll calculations and ensure compliance with relevant tax and labor laws.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in preparing financial statements.
- Utilize accounting software (SoftOne) and payroll software (Hyper.Axion) for data entry and reporting.
- Assist in tax filings and ensure compliance with local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency.
- Handle additional accounting tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role or in an accounting firm.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience with SoftOne accounting software and Hyper.Axion payroll system is essential.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in both Greek and English.
