Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to work alongside the development team, monitor every phase of the development process, be responsible for defining, developing, and implementing QA best practices, processes, and test plans to deliver the best software possible.
We focus on using the following development technologies: Laravel PHP, MySQL, Vue JS, Git, REST APIs, Webpack.
What will you do?
- Test current products and identify deficiencies
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems
- Investigate product quality and make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution
- Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
- Oversee continuous improvement projects
- Collect quality data
- Identify key KPIs for product quality
- Prepare and present reports and metrics to Senior Management
What skills do you need to have?
- Experience of working in software development teams and using software QA methodologies and tools
- Solid experience in writing clear٫ concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
- Critical thinking
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Effective time management
- Comfortable with Git, Github, Gitlab or similar source control solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Growth mindset within a fast-paced start-up environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- High level of integrity & strong work ethic
What’s nice to have?
- Experience with performance and/or security testing will be a plus
- Experience with automated testing tools
- Good knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience with JS testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software design, engineering, or computer science
