What We’re Looking For:
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Real Estate Legal Advisor to join our Legal Department. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in real estate law, particularly in dealing with REOs, title due diligence, and property transfers. If you have a solid legal background and a passion for real estate, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal due diligence of property titles and drafting/correction of titles
- Legal support in the process of transferring, leasing, or selling real estate, including physical representation at the contract signing
- Regulation of real property encumbrances, seizures, and pre-notations
- Management of urban planning and cadastral issues
- Drafting and negotiation of Sale Contracts, Preliminary Agreements, and Lease Agreements
- Physical presence and legal representation, especially of banking funds, during the execution and signing of contracts and notarial acts
- Collaboration with Banks, Banking Funds, Law Firms, Notaries, Engineers, and Public Authorities
- Monitoring legislative developments related to REOs, auctions, and real estate law
Qualifications & Skills:
- Law degree from a recognized institution in Greece
- Member of a Bar Association
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant position, particularly in real estate matters
- Experience with bank-owned properties (REOs) and auctions
- Previous employment in real estate portfolio management companies, investment companies, or real estate funds
- Very good knowledge of the Cadastre, Civil Procedure Code, and urban planning regulations
- Very good command of the English language
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills
