What We’re Looking For
As a Backend Developer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining the backend systems that power Prosperty’s platform. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to build scalable, reliable services and APIs that support our internal tools and customer-facing applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust backend architecture and working on high-impact systems in a fast-moving tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs supporting Prosperty’s platform.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver scalable features.
- Build and optimize GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Work with databases and data models to ensure efficient data handling.
- Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Integrate third-party services and internal systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in production environments.
- Maintain clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in backend development.
- Strong experience with Node.js / SSR environments.
- Experience working with GraphQL and API design.
- Solid knowledge of MySQL and database architecture.
- Experience with Laravel and PHP frameworks is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Typescript / Javascript ES6 ecosystems.
- Experience working in modern development environments and agile teams.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to code quality.
